Default Power steering question...

When i bought my integra the power steering resevoir was broken. I went to the junk yard took one off a prelude. They were different 1 had 3 plugs the tegra had 2. i pluged one of the holes up and used the prelude resevoir. People told me that AT tranmission fluid was the same as Powersteering fluid so I filled it up with the AT fluid. The POWERSTEERING works now but it is making an awful noise. I dont know if its cuz of the AT fluid or because of the prelude resevoir, or because it had no resevoir hooked up for a while. Also my car seems to have more power now that i filled up the powersteering could this affect it any? THANKS ALOT for any REPLYS

do not use AT fluid u will freeze your pump. and u have to rebuild your pump. if its already in there get it out and flush it out. ull have to drain your rack as well. whoever told u to use AT is stupid.

MORE POWER?.... You should only use HONDA fluid because the seals in the pump and rack are only compatible with honda's steering fluid.
