Default power steering

can you safely run the car with powersteering still hooked up just not have the belt on? i know kind of a stupid question but ive already got the belt off cause i had to replace the alternator belt and the ps belt broke. dont wanna buy a new one.

Yeah, but the whole PS system should be removed properly/vented, or you should put the belt back on before you damage your rack.

...and your wrist. You are forcing fluid against fluid. Proberly vent the system and remove it.......or:

Spend the 10 dollars and the 10 mintues and get a new effin belt.
