What is the thread pattern of the Brass plug in the circle? I have a B16 head and it missing this piece, what is the function of it and does anyone know the part number for it?

 

It covers the end of the intake rocker arm shaft.

If you actually go to Honda dealer and ask them they pull up a diagram from the the computer and it shows the part number. I can't think of any where else finding a part number unless someone knows it from the back of their head.

Hmm is the number 18 is the bolt and 22 is the washer for it?

 

no thats not it. just go to a honda/acura dealer and they will know exactly what your talking about. may cost you 5-10 bucks. make sure you order the part before they send a shipment request out. in alaska its every tuesday so monday is my last day before having to wait a full week before the order gets placed. what you have pictured is a oil port that goes into the side of the head by the vtec solenoid on the front of the head. you need the one below the dizzy.

 

Anyone have an idea of what size hex key does this plug uses?
