Default Please i need YOUR help

Its a 95 integra SE.
When i start the car, the car idles funny.
The idle of the car jumps up and down constantly.
Sometimes the car even dies.
I raised the idle a little bit but still the car does it.

If i'm missing any information please let me know thanks for you help in advance

The car does this when its cold.
After it heats up, it runs fine.

I changed the timing belt.
After that it started doing this.

Other than that, the whole car is stock.

Sounds like your thermostat may be the culprit. It regulates the idle and cirulation of coolant in your car.

The car flooded as in you drove into a large puddle and got stuck? Or you flooded it with fuel?

After the car is warmed up, it still does it (the rpm go up and down), but its barely noticeable.
I originally thought its my thradual <--(misspelled) body sensor. But thats not it.

how many miles on your SE ? because my car used to do the same at 75k miles (around the time needed to replace waterpump and timing belt) I also had my valves adjusted while putting in my new cams. solved my problem, good luck.

This may be wayyy too simple, but check the throttle cable and make sure it has a little play in it.

It means off topic(OT). Anyway, your computer is running open loop before it warms up and the computer is guessing what you need. After it warms up, it is running closed loop and can read the O2 sensor and give the right mixture. Since it does it when it's cold, the computer is guessing wrong.

Check all your vaccum lines. My car did the same thing after I put in a aluminum flywheel and it turned out that the vaccum line to my charcoal canister had been pulled off during the install.

The valve adjustment should be close to the same (if not exatly on the 95 SE as the 93 LS) I don't think that the LS head changed between the two cars.

Please take the car to see a professional.

You do not need to go around doing valVe adjustments and oiled compression tests trying to diagnose something that you probably can't fix. I am sure you are eager to work on your car, but there is the potential for you to harm a system that you are not able to fix.

Please, you need a professional's help.

Good Luck

i did the same thing first of all. you just changed timeing belt aka the belt was not placed a tdc (topdead center). the same thing happened to me loss of power idle was Poopoo and the car would not rev past 6k rpm when stopped. put the top in TDC and the pull the pulley off down below align the crank pulley to TDC easy way to dothis is the safety notch is TDC after that put the belt on the right way. solved my problem and it makes me rev happy again 30 min job
good luck
