Ok I bought a 91 CRX Si, has a decent built B18c1 with a JRSC. It has a AEM A/F gauge and on the back of the gauge it says only use LSU 4.9 wideband O2 sensor. Well I ordered a new Wideband O2 the one it says to use, I get the car up in the air before I try to take the O2 out I check the plugs and it’s the wrong plug it doesn’t fit.. So then I just focus on checking out the Gauge wires and it wasn’t even hooked up well correctly anyways. So I go to tie into A25 A26 and D14 but they arnt the wires that are supposed to be in those pins?!!! I’m so Fing confused!!!
To wire up the AEM wideband gauge, do the following:
1. RED (+12VDC ignition)….wire it into the 3rd option slot at the underdash fuse box(see the image below)
2. BLACK (ground)….wire it to a good grounding point. Any existing threaded hole at the driver kick panel will suffice
3. WHITE (analog +)……cut the wire at D10 at least 3 inches away from plug. Tape off the cut side leading into car. Connect into the wire leading to ECU plug.
4. BROWN (analog -)…..tap into D21 or D22. Solder connection and cover with electrical tape
D10 is ELD (Electrical Load Detector). And no, you do not need to modify your ECU to make it work. People use to claim that 2 resistors need to be removed….they don’t.
