Please help!!
So I have a 97 Acura integra, b18b1, boosted. The problem is, she keeps stalling out, but it's more like a surge. The tac keeps bouncing around even though there's no rev increase, she shimmers while backfiring occasionally. Won't go over 25-30 mph. She's stalling. I've changed the spark plugs and wires, distributor (twice), fuel filter, all the usual suspects, but nothing. Still doing the same thing. I have a obd1 with a chip, not quite sure if it would be a ecu problem. Completely stuck, please help!!

So does the engine die and shut off? or does it surge?
When the tach jumps around its usually the ICM inside the distributor going bad but you said that was replaced twice.
Unplug the ECU or the battery for a few mins to re set the ecu in case there is a code causing the engine to go into limp mode.
What kind of "Chip" do you have or what EMS program? can you connect a laptop and check the EMS for any codes?
I would recommend to get a real EMS program not just any online chip, they don't run right and they glitch. Invest in a quality EMS like Hondata S300.
