Why did you punch it?? You're supposed to break it in properly or consequences will ensue.............

well the mechanic drove the car today and he went past vtec but not punching it of course, so it did the same thing after it kicked in it lagged it he said since the crower stage 2 cams have a pretty high lift, that probably the vtec cylinoid(s) nside the head doesn't have anough pressure to hold vtec, he said that theres about 8 of them inside the head and i might need to get them replaced the car has 105,2115 miles so they probably are fucked up huh?

Also theres a tick comming from somewhere in the engine the guy checked it out and said that its probably comming from the vtec cylinoid or theres a leak from the header to the exhaust. what could be wrong? He did the valve adjustment like 4 times so its not that!!!

That's a pretty stupid mechanic.

First of all...don't be dumb. BREAK IN the car properly or it's gonna be BREAKIN', especially since you just dumped so much money on it.

Secondly, why are you driving without a tune for so long, AND trying to punch in.

It's common sense. Take that **** to the shop, get it checked out and tune it.

Break it in and enjoy.

Your mechanic is an idiot.
Find someone to tune your car. Stay out of vtec until you do, or you will be building an engine again.

Your car bogged because you NEED a tune. your car is going to run like **** untill you get one. Stage 2 cams aren't use to stock fuel/timing maps.

You are doing alot more harm to your engine trying to mash on it while its untuned, than what a couple dyno runs and a nice TUNE would do to it.

Your mechanic is a complete retard and knows nothing about hondas. Never take your car to him again.

With your cams the primary lobes are around the same dur/lift as stock so your motor is ok before vtec. What makes a difference are you secondary lobes. Your cams require alot more fuel than what your ecu is giving it, on top of that the timing is probably out of whack too. So when you hit vtec your car leans out and the timing is off so it causes it to bog. This is really bad for your car, when alot of people blow there motors its because they arent getting enough fuel or there timing is messed up. This is why you need a tune, and I wouldn't even be driving it around untill you get one.
