Default PISTON RINGS - THE GAP?

my setup is going to be custom rods with type R pistons - maybe even just some LS rods.. but ne ways. i need to know what the gap has to be for the piston ring gap - someone lemme know with some knowledgable info..

also wondering do they come from the factory with the right gap - if not.. y not?

im assuming if htey dont they always come larger so u can make the piston ring gap smaller, correcT? and what methods do u use in order to make the gap larger - do u just use like a stone grinder or use some dikes or wut?

thx alot fo ur help guys.. really appreciate it.

to make the gap larger in seattle i call 425 644 8898 and order new rings. to make them smaller you must grind and check, grind and check. use a ring grinder or a small file if no one is avaliable.
