hey need some help to beef up my ride (integ 99)
got burned by a civic today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your car is an automatic you can still fix it up and, just a stick will be WAY better to race with.
Maybe the Civic was souped up?? Maybe it was an SI(they can beat stock LS....but if your car is a GSR thats just sad haha)

what can i do not anything major, i don't want those loud *** exhausts that you can hear a mile away. i don't need all that fancy junk, i just want it to be a lil quicker
any suggestions??

 

it's an LS, that car had all that crap all over it. exhaust rims etc
i just don't wanna be in that situation again and not able to put up a fight

 

first of all learn how to launch and shift properly. second of all, I would suggest getting an intake,exhaust,and header. That is basically the first stage of modifications. If you desire more power you can go with some cams,cam gears, head work and VAFC for tuning. Even with 200 whp , if you dont know how to harness and utilize the power of your car, you will be constantly getting burned by civics.
