p75 obd2a chip???
I just put in a jdm b18b obd2a(98) engine in my 2000 civic coupe and the ecu is a us obd2a(97)!!! What problem does this cause and is there a chip that I can apply to my current ecu?

Well first of all, you have an obd2A ecu and your car is considered obd2B. You can chip your obd 2 ecu but its VERY expensive and nobody really can do it unless you send off your ecu to Mugen/Spoon/FEELs/etc in Japan. You could also get an obd2B-1 conversion harness and run an obd 1 ecu- OR- you can get an obd2B-obd2A conversion harness to run that LS ecu you have. For now, I guess you can try to find a 00-01 Integra LS ecu BUT i believe the US 00-01 Integra's had a built in immobilizer in their ecu's.
I paid $250 shipped for a Spoon Sports clone from K-Max Speed. That was just for the Oki chip. Fortunately, I have a good friend in Japan who arranged the purchase for me. Soldering the new 84-pin surface mount socket was not trivial either. But, I have a chipped OBDIIa compatible ecu. For me, this was cheaper than the OBDI conversion, but I cannot change my program.
Thanks for the reply guys!!! What I have done is soldered and coverted my obd2b wiring harness to my obd2a ecu!!! I have a 2000 p75 ecu(obd2b) but couldn't get it to work!!! I'm conserned about losing performance...am I loosing HP with my 1997 us ecu with my 98 jdm b18b engine????
