Default P0505 Engine code on 1998 GSR

I have searched every where and it seems like p0505 is very common but my issues are different from everyone that I have read. I just bought a 1998 Acura Integra GS-R and it has a P0505 code. I used a scanner from my work that tells me that I have zero vacuum leaks. I replaced my IACV and I still have the code. When my car is warm the car idles around 1k which I know is high still. After sitting for a while at a stop light I can hear the intake suck more air in and then a heart beat like sound begins. The movement is not noticeable on my dash tach but I hooked up a scanner that show is fluctuating from 1350-1430 rpms. Anyone have any ideas? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the wiring that goes to the IACV?

I will check the wiring to the iacv tonight. The only other thing I haven't done it adjust the idle screw. I went to try that last night and the idle screw was stripped. I am ordering a new one from acura tomorrow. I just hope I can get the old one out.

I took it to my local acura dealer and they tried for 7 hours to figure out the problem and failed. I took it home and removed the skunk 2 intake manifold the nuts on the bottom were finger tight. I replaced it with a stock manifold and that fixed it. I am just confused why my machine and acuras showed that there were not any vacuum leaks? Oh well thank you Go-Part
