Default Outerwear PreFilters

I saw an ad for air filter covers specifically for CAI's.
http://www.outerwears.net

Has anyone seen or used these? It's suppose to cut out dirt and water from sucking into the intake.

Any thoughts? I was planning to get SRI piping, but this may do the trick about possible water sucking into the engine. I have a AEM v2, so no bypass valve.
