It's possible that it wasn't on a school day, or during the hours where the school-zone was on... just a thought.

does school zone mean there are kids around 24/7? How about no. Besides, I slowed back down to 45 (the speed limit before I even got near the front of the school.

Its not that i assumed it was in session... All i know is that in arizona there's a 0 tolerance policy and its 35mph in ALL school zones unless noted otherwise. And it is that way for a reason because kids still get hit by cars in that area regardless of if school was in or not.

and no you did not slow back down to 45 through the school zone... you shifted from 3rd into 4th at redline, and 1/2 way frlm where your RPM landed until redline, you let off and tapped your brakes... im guessing you were doing about 60 at the least - also in the first picture you're about 20 feet behind the sign that notes a mother walking her child across the street - at 6500rpm in 4th gear, that's close to 80. there's no justifying this.

Havn't you ever heard of afterschool activities? regardless im not going to argue... i'll let the fact that you sped through a school zone "testing out" your monster GSR with an intake and a header irregardless of the cars arround you as well as your lack of ability to see over that hill.

damn...everyone here gets pretty harsh. How about this...sounds like he got lectured enough now and maybe he learned his lesson. I know for a fact that not all school zones are prone to children. There is one that I drive past quite often through a very rural area that has "school zone" signs yet there aren't even any homes for miles from the school. There is nothing but a school there. I've never, ever seen anyone, much less a kid, there during non-school hours at all. I didn't even hesitate blasting through there at 85MPH this weekend. So maybe just chill out on the guy, you never know the scenario.

well according to the video, its an area with many cars - Homes/neighborhoods near - and he approached the crest of a hill where its VERY hard to see over (or through it for that matter).

But whatever - im going to lay off the guy. I just hope everytime he sees that school zone he goes 45 or under - i understand this was a "testing out the header" run but whatever
