i might have made a mistake when i was doing my oil change today. i wasn't paying attention and bought the oil filter for the b18b1 for my GSR. honda parts is closed on sunday so i just asked my friend to go grab me one while he was on the way to my house (i think he went to pep boys or somethin). on the phone he asked me if it was a b18b1 and i guess i wasnt paying attention and said yes. will this create a problem or are they the same shiet?

 

PH3593A is the fram number for about 100 honda vehicles..even including non-automotive. The filters are the same. No worries bud. LS/GSR/ITR = same oil filter
