Hey i was just wondering if it is possable to drive a car (for like 4 months) without it

then reason why i ask is because when i assembeled the head/block i forgot to put dowel pins in about 4 months ago....so i baught them and car is going in shop to get headgasket changed (having problems with that and white smoke)

well neway i was thinking that i MIGHT of forgotten to put that in. my car goes in on tuesday and i just want to know so i can buy the part b4 it goes in.

but obviously if the car wont run (or run for like 4 months) then i obvious put it in

does the orifice sit flush with the deck of the block or does it stick out a bit?

i think that it would be impossible to run the engine for more than 10 minutes without the oil control orifice.

that little sucker does allot for the oiling of the engine.......with out it the engine would seize or spin a bearing........

if you drover around for 4 months I'm pretty sure it's in there.....
