ok so i bought this 2001 integra gsr has 37k miles on it
the guy who had it before me put regular oil in it and premium gas
i wanna put synthetic oil... is there anything that will happen if i do... i dont see why not

nope.

 

if im informed correctly, you can go regular to synthetic, but not synthetic to regular. speak up if im wrong.

 

both are old wives tales. Just get a decent synthetic oil. That is dont get Castrol Syntec, its not real Synthetic. In fact, most "synthetic" oils out there arent really 100% synthetic. The closest you can get in an affordable oil is probably Mobil 1 Supersyn, but even that isnt as good as it could be.

 

what oil should we get? honda genuine motor oiL?

its just overpriced 5w-30.....
