Default OEM Kit

I'm thinking about getting a Comptech Lip for my 97 GSR, just wonder will the OEM kit side skirt and rear lip fit my car? Also, i heard someone said in the message board before that the Comptech lip requires no drilling, just use the double face tape to stick on, is that correct? thks!

It's true that you don't have to drill, but I would recommend it...otherwise it has a greater possibility of ripping off while doing 80+mph road maneuvers.

If you want, you can also order the newer fenderwell liners that already have the metal screw tabs to accept the screws from the lip spoiler.

I have the comptech front lip. Instructions say to put 2 or 3 screws on the ends in fender. Came with black screws and you can barely see them. Overall a pretty good fit. I put it on in a few minutes and fits perfect. Lasted 1 year with no problems at all.

I have the Comptech lip on my 95. I just put two screws in at each end. I had mine on for a little over a year now. No problems yet and yes the kit does come with the screws.
