Icon2 OBD0 LS thowing code 43

what would be associated with the fuel system problem being diagnosed by the ECU? i just don't know where to start as far as what to fix? the car runs fine, motor needs a rebuild( rings, headgasket). sems to be running a tad rich. this code is only thrown after the motor is up to operating temperature. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Start by checking the simple stuff first..

Vacuum leaks will throw a code 43, check all the vacuum lines.

Make sure the gas cap is in good working order and on tight.

I would also put a fuel pressure gauge on the system, see what the pressure is and check the FPR, the O2 sensor can also throw a code 43. 94

I had the same Code on my old LS. Most likely the o2 sensor. It's really REALLY easy to change out. Don't even bother paying to have it replaced. It's like 20 bucks at autozone if you use your old wire. It's only 1 wire and I think it was a crimp on
