obd0 LS
This is my friends car and he is having problems and we are trying to fix it.
the car is a 90 civic dx with ls swap
car has a horribly ruff idle, In the video when it bogs down then rev's up is when i try to give it gas. If it gets above like 3k i can rev it fine in-till it starts to bog out again. You can see the ruff idle from the camera shaking. at the end i try revving it up and eventually it dies
I'm stumped and I've tried alot of things
New fuel pump,fuel filter,spark plugs,cap/rotor

Double/triple checked timing. all good.
Was thinking the IACV or TPS
The car at wont time ran perfectly fine and i drove it and it would only be a little hesitent comming off idle...

after you've cleaned out the IACV.
(depending on the type of transmission you have)
This information is for Automatic - Check to see if your IM is for the Auto or Manual. to figure that out, you'll see the EGR valve. It rests on the psgr. side, its a small cone shaped device that is mounted close to the head. You can remove the EGR, but will have to do 2 things. purchase an aftermarket adapter plate to cover that and your ECU will need to be changed or chipped to remove the EGR map. or find a complete IM for manual.
**
Also, replace the O2 sensor, that helped me a great deal with rough idle.
**
during your timing, did you unplug the IACV sensor clip? The clip is hard to get to as it rests behind the IM and firewall, you'll need a long thin standard screw driver to unlatch the clip and push it down and off. then you can set the timing correctly. with that sensor off the engine will run extremely rough and may even the an ECU code light on. that's okay. After you've completed the adjustment, simply replug the sensor and turn off engine. Reset the ECU and start it up.
**
I'm sure you've looked into replacing the spark plugs and wires.
**
Do you have the right ECU???

**
Extreme case #1 - Timing Belt may be off a tooth from one of the cams. you know what's going to have to be done next.
Extreme case #2 - may be a broken valve.
This is all from my experiences.

No it does not have a EGR VALVE
The timing is good, checked 3 times
Havent check the valve's to see if any are broke or stuck..
What happened recently before i changed out new spark plugs was there was fuel down in the cyclinder.. when i turned it over with the plugs out of the motor fuel came out....
I think possibly injectors might be stuck open?
