O2 Sensor interchangable on OBD2 Tegs?
Just wondering if the two o2 sensor
on a '96 Integra (OBD 2) are exactly the same? Like the plugs and connectors. I replace the upstream one and was wondering if I can use the plug or reconnector to rewires with a new o2 sensor for the 2nd downstream one?

Every website I've seen shows different part numbers, and different prices for each sensor (rear one always being more expensive), so I would assume they're different. Kinda odd, really, since the ECU takes its main reading from the primary sensor, and just uses the secondary one to make sure the cat is in place and working properly.

The OE sensors cost $231 for the front and about $200 for the rear sensor.

However, a different brand such as Denso runs $98 for the front sensor and $159 for the rear. I can't imagine how they could be the same with that much of a difference in price.
Sorry - can't answer that question - other than the wire harness on the front is longer than the rear.
A better question would be why are the price differences the opposite between those 2 sources? Or why is the Denso sourced product so much cheaper when OEM is Denso?
FWIW - when I was looking around for a replacement O2 sensor last year, Autozone quoted me $80 for a generic/universal, and about $160 for a Denso. Front or rear didn't matter. I ended up getting brand new Denso off eBay for $50.

OEM isn't always Denso. But Denso or not, the OEM Honda part is ALWAYS more expensive. I have yet to see a non-OEM-labeled O2 sensor cost as much as the part with the OEM Honda label.
