O2 sensor?
Hey, guys i'm having a bit of trouble trying to find out what's going on with my car. It's having trouble idling, i was wondering does a O2 sensor effect a car's idle by any chance? The reason why i ask this is cause i pull a code 43 every once in a while.
Could there be a vacuum leak? Also maybe unplug the o2 sensor and see how it idles. The FITV is the fast idle thermal valve. Since your car is an '00 model I don't think you have one.

Wouldn't unplugging the O2 sensor make the car rung worse...

Not if you "unplug" the wires at the connector. It just causes the car to go into open loop mode and disregard inputs from the sensor and use preset fuel mappings. If you were to unscrew the sensor from the exhaust and leave it hanging, then you might blow your motor or cause it to go into limp mode.
