today, i chose to clean my engine, cleaning it i noticed a HUGE ammount of oil just sitting on the tranny i cleaned it all just thinking its just ageing or some past issue thats been solved, so i cleaned it, ok this is a B18a1 motor, drove it for a while when i get home i notice this right here, and honestly its ALOT OF OIL LEAKED for my short drive i had. its been there obviously

after engine cleaned look closely its all clean next pic will show more

so what is this, is it motor oil ??? how is it caused ? how do i stop it.

Oh again this is a 1993 Acura Integra LS B18A1 Manual Transmission.

That is the cam seal/cap on the exhaust side. Common problem, cheap/easy fix.

I still need to replace mine, i'm just lazy =P

 

is it a biggie ? or just ? also is this motor oil lol ?

 

yea its motor oil....monkeys can install a cam seal so its not bad at aalll....i recommend a billt seal with 3 rings off ebay....pretty cheap too

 

Appears to be the valve cover gasket leaking also.
