nothing on?????
I have a 94 ls with 142xxx and the other day i drove it downtown and shut it off and cameback 5 mins later, got in it turned the key, it turned followed by a loud click noise, all the electronics turned off, everything was off nothing worked. I turned the key on and off about 3 times then it started up. This happend to me the other day too.....repeated the same process and it started up once again, this is not very frequent thought......thanks in advance
Loose battery cables, ground cables, or engine/body ground cable. Check both ends of each cable. Loose or corroded terminals will sorta act like that, after trying a couple times it shakes itself into making contact.

it has to be a loose connection with the battery. because if you didnt get any power to your stereo, lights, cluster, etc, etc.. then it has to be an electrical connection loose somewhere. just look through all your connections and make sure there nice and tight, also take off your battery cables and clean off any acid build up between the terminals and the plugs..

First I'd find which one is loose or corroded. Most times you can just clean or tighten the ones you have. Then cover them with grease so they don't just corrode again.
If you don't know how to make up your own cables, or if you can't find big fat stranded wire in a hardware store, then maybe you'll want one of those kits.
