maybe you guys can help me out i have a friend that has an 91 interga like mines only he has an ls. today he was driving his can and it just shut off this is not the fir time this has happend. the first time it happpen we found out that is was his coil what might be the problem this time ..we have check every thing could it be the coil again ..has anyone else had this problem before.. i think it might be the ignitor or maybe he should change the whole distributor any suggestions?

 

how many miles are on the teg?
I'd say you're on the right track...if it has higher mileage, you're probably better off replacing the dizzy (rotor/cap/ignitor/etc...)

Have you noted patterns in the shutting behavior?... was he at full throttle or idle? does it happen in mid shift? does he have a manual or auto?

what mods has he done?

do you guys even know how to help yourself?
