is this normal?
i just insatlled my skunk 2 IM and JDM ITR header with 2.5 cat now my car idels kinda high and then goes down to bewteen 1000 rpm to 0000rpm i was thinking i just need time for the ecu to reconize the new parts but i just wanted to know if it might be other issures. pic would help of the setup of the IM too

Sounds like your intake manifold gasket it leaking. Spray some carb cleaner around the head and IM, if it fixes it, you've got a leak.
Also check your throttle body gasket.

yeah i took out th e battery the whole timew we were doing the install. is tehre other way of reseting the ecu. i even chnaged all the gasket.
i just took out the ecu fuse and now it ok but one thing i forgot to mention was that the throttle cable is not bolted where it should on the Skunk2 cus the bracket is touching the ATS air tep sensor, i was told i have to buy a ITR throttle cable bracket cus it extends long to the side...at this moment the rpm is at 1.5 when it used to be a 1 before the mod and ecu reset. so am thinking once i put the brackete and adjust the cable it should be fine. but input on my ideea is much appreciated.
