I changed my tegs oil about a month and a half a go today i checked and it was empty and the oil lights was flashing is this normal for a car to burn oil this fast?

 

no, not at all, this happened to me when i had a bearing going out (rod bearing) my oil went like hella low, then my bearings were not lubed....then it started knocking, then i needed a new motor......better do a compression test, if the test is good then check your cooling system...

 

if you're low on oil then the light should come on, but a rod bearing isnt going to lose oil....you're going to have low oil pressure w/ bearing clearance problems. What does the dipstick register?
