Default Non-VTEC cams...

Any recommendations? Trying to go the NA route with an LS or B20. Thanks in advance.

crower 403/404 with valvesprings and tune. do this after the basic boltons because cams only work well with supporting mods.

Crower 403's it is but now I have to decide what compression to go with keeping in mind that it is still a street car and reliability is still a big priority. Maybe somewhere in the 10.5 to 11... not trying to run anything more than 91 octane on the street with the option to throw in some C14, advance the timing, and have some fun on the track

anyone have any ideas what the quickest NA DB1 is? I think a 13sec 4DR street car would be respectable. I'm trying to figure out how much WHP/how high I have to rev to get a 4DR NA non-VTEC to be in the 13s, slicked down of course but not gutting out/cutting **** up... I believe coupes, hatches, crx's need anywhere from mid 100's to low 200's so maybe im gonna need at least low to mid 200s and a good launch but it would be hard to get that kind of power out of a daily NA non-VTEC. What do you guys think?

10:1 . 11:1 - you can go higher and still be safe for every day application. a stock gsr/type r are higher compression.

try usin some CTR pistons. friend is ussing them on his gsr and he <3's it.

thanks for the advice... any idea what the compression might be with LS block, crank, rods, and CTR pistons? I need to find out what the absolute highest compression I can go with pump gas and fully retarded timing on the street...
