I just changed the fluid in my power steering, and i dont think its broken because it works, turns without no problem, but does make a little whiney noise, so i dunno if its that or is it something else underneath, it just seems really loud and annoying

 

do i need to release any air from the pump, is that whats making the noise? if so how do i release the air from the pump?

 

the sound is like a grinding kinda noise coming from the right of the headers if you were looking down on the engine and right near the power steering pump to the left of it, i dunno if its a belt or what, does anybody know?
