No VTEC, TPS Sensor?

No VTEC, TPS Sensor?
My vtec stopped working after i got a new throttle cable installed and my throttle body cleaned out could this have something to do with it? all other systems are go (vtec solenoid ok, oil is ok, oil psi is ok etc..) VTEC has been out for 3 weeks HELP!
