Default No gauges working in cluster

So I followed this https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2 to swap in a jdm 96 ITR cluster into my 95 LS, switched the cf bezel and the gauges etc etc. I plugged it in, started up the car, and the lights and all the other warning lights work except all the gauges, temp, tach, speed, gas don't work. If the rest of the cluster is lighting up and working fine, there wouldn't be a problem in the plugs right? So where else would the problem lie? Any help
