Default Next Step in upgrading

Well basically I have everything thats in my sig already so Im looking to get a few more horse out of the car. I dont want to go FI cuz its just too much money right now to dip in a car IMO, but possibly a chipped ECU, throttle body, intake manifold? For suspension wise I think Im just gonna upgrade the rear sway to like a 21mm bar. Please show me the way.

Looks like you want a really nice/moderately fast daily driver, am I correct? Trying to keep a budget, I'd say go with the ITR rear sway bar. I'm probably not the only one in saying that it's the best suspension upgrade I did for the price. In fact, it's probably one of the best things you can EVER do for the car for under $130.

Why don't you also look into the Skunk2 intake manifold (or even a custom one), and some nice cams? You can even look into a more aggressive clutch.

well I didnt want to mess with anything internal but mostly esternal. I heard J&G makes a nasty IM. Also, no one reccomends getting a chipped ECU? I thought that this would make all of the upgrades flow together for more power. And yes Shamoo you are correct:

No, I would not recommend any sort of chipped ECU. This has been under some controversy for a while, but in my opinion, I wouldn't mess with anything ECU related until I had some serious engine modifications, or I was going forced induction. Even in that case, I wouldn't get a "chipped" ECU, per se. I'd look into some sort of engine/fuel management. These can include, but aren't limited to AEM, Haltec, Hondata, Motec, etc.

Anyway, yes JG does make nice manifolds. So does Edlebrock, Blox, etc. I believe HT has lots of information regarding each of these, plus more. Search, n00b! Just kidding.

The whole "internal/external" modifications thing can be taken many different ways. If you can do some work yourself, installing cams can be quite easy. It can be considered a bolt-on. Some people consider turbo kits bolt on too.

Now that I think about it some more, definitely look into a more aggressive clutch. I recommend ACT. Perhaps an LSD? (Might be more expensive than it's worth to you especially if you aren't doing the work yourself).
