If you would like your questions answered, quickly and correctly I suggest you type as normal as your ability allows. I say this to protect you from any misconceptions people might get of you.

2001 gsrs have obd3? are you sure?
93-95 OBD1
96-98 OBD2
99-01 OBD2B
one question..
let's say i have a g3 teg and i have an OBD1 ECU and harness to convert OBD2 to OBD1,right? well do i have to take the O2 sensor out once i convert it, or i can just leave it there and don't even bother??
Syncros allow you to shift into different gears w/o revmatching. Without them, you would get a lot of grinding and jerking when you downshifted.
About double-clutching, what are you expecting to happen? Nothing magical is supposed to happen. You just save some wear and tear on your syncros by double-clutching, and you should get a smoother shift.
