new Valves?
I took the head in today to have it cleaned and a little taken off the bottom and he said that it needs new valves. Is there any difference with going a aftermarket valves as opposed the stock valves?
i dont understand why you would need new valves unless their bent/burnt/chipped.
buy if you have to change them you can get oversized valves. it will help in flow and power. you will need to have the head ported to make the valves work and a 3-angle valve cut to properly seat the new valves into the head.
http://www.sivalves.com makes .5mm oversized intake and exhaust stainless steel valves for the LS head and a cheaper price than what Ferrea charges. and they have the pro-flow design on the base of the valve stem just like ferrea does too.
