Default New Tein Basic damper.

Anyone know anything else about them besides whats on http://www.tein.com ?
Any dealers here get any pricing info on them?

Not much man. Did you ever email TEIN about their rusting problem? I did two weeks ago and I still havent recieved a response

I saw an ad or something and it said they would be priced really close to $700. I did not however know it only 1 inch adjustable, that sucks.

It appears from the chart on http://www.tein.com/honda.html that the basic model has the same ride height adjustability as the SS... which is to say about 3". Maybe I'm misreading it.

This chart also seems to be saying that Teins have adjustable spring rates. It seems like you'd have to swap springs to change the rate - anyone know about this?

the basic is the exact same as the SS minus the adjustable dampening and the valving. meaning, when you change the spring rate for the basic you can only change it a small amount compared to the SS which can be changed a larger amount, likely valved differently. And tein charges 50 dollars extra per spring to upgrade the spring rate and you keep both sets of springs.
