Icon2 New Integra

I just bought a 99 Integra Gs, I paid 1000 for it and it has 135xxx miles on it. I thought it was a pretty good deal, runs down the road straight, pretty clean body minus the front bumper, and it runs smoothly. I was a little discouraged that it was non-vtec and an automatic. Was wondering how hard a gsr swap with tranny and pedals would be, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There's a how to for the auto to manual. as for swapping in a GSR pretty easy you'll need some wiring skills and tools. for the engine you'll be looking at 2.3-2.6K for the whole auto to manual it varrys most parts can be got at a pick n pull.

Damn that would be nice but I can't come off that much cash until June, other wise if I had it I would be there with the cash.

he would probably end up still around the 2k mark, if not more to do it right. I would never do lsv without a properly built bottom end. above 7k the ls bottom end tends to start falling apart because of the weak rod bolts. and if youre gonna rip apart the bottom end to replace the rod bolts you may as well overhaul the short block

I say go manual and do ls-vtec the motor only has 130k miles. I see a little bit of rust in the rear quarter panel.
