thanks dude. i think the lsd is the limited slip differential found in itr. correct me if im wrong. i dont want to sound stupid. also, does the hydro work better than the cable tranny. is one better than the other when it comes to the transmission. thanks again. pros and cons?

A limited slip senses which wheel has the best traction and sends more of the power to it. A normal open differential sends the power to the wheel that is resisting the least, which isn't what you want during spirited driving. When you're going around a corner the weight shifts to the outside wheel and that wheel needs the power since it has more traction - an open diff. will send the power to the inside wheel which will slip, and an lsd will send the power to the outside wheel.

ll give you my best interpretation of a stand alone system......
the stand alone fuel management is basically a unit that can control every aspect of fuel delivery from inside the vehicle, it's basically a computer and in most cases is a software type program that can be downloaded to a computer(like fast and the furious) and be adjusted according to conditions, it takes a lot of experience to operate these things , the stand alone lets you control all fuel delivery and most engine fuctions, you can advance the fuel curve for higher rpm engine revs or raise the fuel pressure to accomodate rising boost levels or nitrous delivery, it's a very amazing tuning tool that is used by all the pros to get the best possible combustion which translates into power.....i wish i new how to use one of these things and most tuner shops don't even have the corrrect idea......if you get one of these go to a very well known person to teach you about it......
