new engine for ls
i am looking at getting a crate engine for my 95 ls and i was just wondering if u guys have had experiences with n e diffrent crate engines and which ones you have liked thnx for ur help
are you talking about a brand new crate engine from Honda? If you are then dont waste your money just get a used gsr or type r swap for probably less money. or rebuild your existing motor up. to give you an idea the dealer cost on a 2003 2.0L Hyundai Elantra crate engine is a touch over $5k, i cant imagine what a honda crate engine would cost

It is possible to get a crate engine built for you, just look at http://www.jgenginedynamics.com:thumbup: , or http://www.jcwhitney.com or some other places like that. You can get them as built up for what you want. Or just get a regular engine and build it yourself from there from http://www.passwordJDM.com or someplace like that.

and i think im going forced induction to
well what i want to do with my car is put in the biggest engine possible and then turbo charge it i want it to be fast and yes i do have a good amount of money to spend on this project
are you aware of how turbo works? dont waste money buying high compression engines when youre intent on running high boost...youll just spend money lowering the compression and reinforcing the block....boost the ls you have and im sure youd be more than happy
