Do anyone of you guys know what the part #/code of a 97 GSR ECU?

37820-P72-A01

The last 3 digits could also be A02 or another A0X number, it is the revision number. This ECU part # would be for a 96-00 GSR

Thank you very much sir...so mine being 37820-P72-A04 would mean that it is a GSR right? And another thing, would putting that ECU into a D16Y8 help?

Yes, that ECU is for a GSR.

Using it on a D16Y8 would not be wise since that ECU is for a DOHC engine, and the D16 is a SOHC. Not a good idea.
