No tension on clutch lever- DA Integra
hey guys- Car is a 1993 Integra RS. I installed a jdm type r motor and a cable tranny I had built by syncrotech... The trans is great and ran it with my old motor for about 2,000 miles.... I just installed a new act prolite flywheel, oem pilot bearing and reused the jdm ITR clutch that looked in good shape.... I just hooked up the clutch cable and notice the lever on the trans has NO tension on it.... With the cable attached the clutch pedal just falls to the floor... It feels exactly like there is no throw out bearing installed inside the trans. The throw out bearing is oem and also had only 2,000 miles or so.
Is it possible the clutch release bearing came off of the lever inside the trans or something? This IS NOT a clutch cable issue ... I can lift the lever on the trans with no effort. I'm sure I'm going to have to drop the trans again which I don't want but what could be the problem... At first it seemed the lever had tension then all of a sudden lost it.
P.S I only have 1 axle installed and no shift linkage as of right now.
Thanks peeps!!!
