hey guys! i've got a 97 gsr that i love, but its giving me some problems. i was in a wreck about a year ago that did a good bit of damage. i was getting vibration in the front end and i was going through axles every 4-5 months. i paid a lot of money to have the frame straightened, still had vibration and axle trouble. took it to my mechanic and he told me my differential bearings were warped and thats what was causing the problem. so about 2 weeks ago i had a brand new type r tranny installed along with an exedy clutch and flywheel (which i am loving!) unfortunately, i still have vibration coming from the front end. it's really only at about 60-70 mph, nothing to do with rpm. i feel some vibration other times, but i think that is just the stock shocks with lowering springs. does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this? the old axles were reused with the new tranny, but they were only about a month old and my mechanic said they were fine. i'm about to lose my mind cuz i can't figure this out. someone please give me some help here!

It may be a wheel bearing.

 

Or the wheel itself. I just hit a couple huge potholes on the weekend and now I have two completely bent rims. Put em on the rear... shimmy is all gone (well not all but a lot). Time to replace rims n tires for me.
