Ok, here is whats going on with my 99 gsr. It just started last night after I changed the axel. The idel drops slow when you are just coasting and when you push in the clutch while in second, it takes a while for the idel to drop, It stays around 2000 to 2500. When shifting from 1st to 2nd the idel only drops really slowly. The car also idels high, around 1000-1500.

Have you tried using a Vacum Guage to see what's your Vacum, is so what is your vacum, this will help and elemenate is you have a mechanical or driveability problem. Have you made any modifications before they symptom happend, if so what have you done.
