Ok well today after starting my car I heard a fairly loud noise. It sounded like a tea kettle. After doing some research I found out that it might be my fuel pump. I wanted to know if anything else could be making the noise, but im pretty sure thats what it is. Also what is a good fuel pump to get.. im currently looking at the Walbro 255 HP.. any other good ones out there

as far as a fuel pump, if your motors stock, get a stock fuel pump.

Sorry about the title lol.. the motor is pretty much stock but my car is turbo i have some other upgrades like bigger injectors, IM, exhaust

if you put a turbo on it, you should have upgraded the fuel system when you got it, usually a better pump and bigger injectors, and gotten that tuned.im not a turbo guy myself (not by choice of course) but i doubt it would hurt to get the walbro fuel pump.

Yeah, when i bought the car it already had a turbo installed on it. There was an upgraded fuel rail, FPR, injectors and im guessing a fuel pump. But after having problems i replaced the injectors with 1000cc ones, and a new fuel rail but the pump seemed fine. Im guessing that it just went bad now and needs replacing aswell. I was just wondering if the Walbro is a good choice, or there are others out there.
