My 93 Teg refuses to register that it is in fact in park when i drive it in the cold. Drove it to the dealer

--- (because of the people who work there, 3 of them regularly drive gen 2 tegs... and when i took it there to get a tune up and a new dizzy [under the 75,000 mile warranty last year] they dented my passenger side side skirt and just replaced it for free yesterday)

and was told by one who happens to own 3 gen 2 tegs now and has owned 8 in all that this was a common problem for him and all i needed to do was replace the shift position switch.

I was releaved to find out it wasnt a tranny problem... but now im faced with a new problem, finding out how to replace this stupid thing. If anybody could help me locate instructions or tell me where to look for them I would appreciate it.

 

well i gound one at my local dealer for 50 bucks... lame... the thing fits in my hand and is somethign i could build myself, anybody else find one for me?
