My car just recently passed 153k miles, its a 95 SE. The two options i'm debating is swapping in a new motor and turboing it or getting a 2000 impreza RS and swapping in a WRX motor. My question about the teg is, even though the engine would be relatively new, how does the chassis and other parts hold up once the car gets this old?? I don't want to swap in a new engine then have to replace the axles, frame rust, etc. I live in NY so snow will be a factor

 

Don't worry man, your car isn't that old. Is the rust visible or are you just predicting that it's going to start to appear? Buy a full b18C1/5 swap, they usually come with new axles.
