Default Need Help. Check engine light on!

So the past 2 days my check engine light is coming on. Heres the deal. I have an a/f gauge. Check engine light only comes on when the a/f drops all the way off the lean side and dissappears. Restart the car and it goes away. About 3 days ago I noticed the a/f gauge not reading rich like it almost always does. It stays in the lean even when I first start the car and that has only happened a few times but generally goes away after a nightof sitting. I changed the oil the other day and oil got all over the o2 sensor area on the exhaust. wouldn't think thats a problem but maybe who knows. Also stopped by autozone with the light on they hooked there machine up and it couldn't read. I have and OBD2-OBD1 harness conversion so maybe thats why. Any ideas? I am thinking bad 02 but just seeing what you guys thing.

First off, toss that a/f gauge in the garbage, its pretty much garbage, unless its a wide band.

Why don't you check the code yourself then go from there.

That is great info but if the autozone computer couldn't read it will this work. and if it does what car and year do I use? This is a OBD1 converted ecu.

Yes it will work.

For the codes, go off what ecu you are running, even though obd1 and obd2 codes are pretty much the same codes.

I believe its throwing 2 codes. 1 for oxygen sensor like I thought. Its also looking like its throwing code 22 for vtec oil pressure switch. Now I was low on oil and it wasn't engaging a few weeks back but I refilled oil since then and I have no problems with vtec engaing. Do you think it was just because of the low oil pressure or could something be wrong with my vtec switch? I also have a VAFC just for controling vtec could that be making it throw that code?
