ok so i just replaced my spark plugs, spark plug wires and distributor cap and now my car wont start! I have the wires in the correct firing order and stuff but i dont know what the heck is going on! Well, i originally had the wires in the wrong order and when i fixed that, it started for a while, idled at 4g and then it took a dump! Now it won't start again. Any help please!!!!!

 

make sure the spark plug is getting fire if not it mght be your coil and make sure you reset the ecu by un pluging the neg on the batt and tap it to the pos 3 times and what codes are you getting

 

Im not getting any codes and when you say tap it to the pos do you mean to tap the neg terminal to the pos of the battery while the pos terminal is connected?

 

Check your timing.

 

It's pretty obvious that it should be something u messed with, cause i assume ur car was working fine b4. Go back make sure the rotor is on properly and the screw didn't come loose or anything, double check to make sure u got the spark plugs in the correct fireing order and are tightened down onto the spark plugs. If the problem is elsewhere then that's a pretty big coincidence that it apparently just happened as soon as u did the maintenance.
