Hey guys Im looking in to buying a 5speed acura integra what are they things that I should looking for when buy it

 

there is a ton of things to look for. when it comes to buying a car you should really have good general knowledge of how it works. for starters, i would say make sure it shifts with no grinds, clutch isnt slipping, make sure you dont hear any knocking or loud tapping from the motor, make sure its not burning oil or leaking oil. make sure there is no oil in the coolant either.

 

It depends on what year you're looking at buying...all gens have their specific issues to look for.

 

Looking for a 94-01 integra

 

check for leaks,
rust in doors/boot/around windscreen.
check the gearbox shifts with out problems.
check CVs arnt clicking.
check no abs/check engine light.
check it isnt smoking.
check coolant is nice and green.
check oil is amber/brown (white is bad, black it may just need change)
check theres no squeaks coming from suspension/steering while test driving.

Dont be afraid to give it a bit of a thrash.
