I have a 1990 4 door integra ls and I have to drive 74 miles round trip to do my job and I have no other car.

so the transmission had a code in it the S3 light was flashing I changed the 2 solenoids on the top of the trans and now no code but when I tried to drive it, still acted like the solenoid(s) were bad still stuck in limp mode and when it tried to shift motor just flew away so i stop and put it in manual 2 and nothing...


I shut it off waited like 30 sec and was able to drive a little farther down the road same thing again. I got out unplugged the sensor set the code again and was able to get home in 2nd..

Please help any ideas what to look at next
