Need Help!
I was driving back home and when i got out of the car i saw smoke coming out of my engine bay. So i opened my hood and it looked like the smoke was coming out of the radiator. Is the fan not working?
The fan, whether it was working or not, won't save your car from over heating. Did your car over heat?
My guess is you were boiling your coolant, thus the steam etc. or your coolant no longer could adequately cool your engine. Check to make sure you have coolant and check the hoses for leaks, signs of stress, or if they came loose from their respective locations.
You may also want to replace your thermostat and fan switch while you are at it.
