i have a 91 DA and the tach keeps bouncing as soon as i hit 4k rpms any ideas of whats causing this my friends tell me its the igniter but i just want to confirm this from other ppl and their experiences thanks guys

 

Usually when the tach is inaccurate its caused by a shotty distributor, i would have that looked at.

I have a 91 as well, and w/ our old gauge clusters, the needles are almost never as accurate as they should be, but w/ a bouncing tach, sounds like its the dizzy.
